Well the first big event that happened was Cael and Coy's first birthday.

Here is Coy and Cael at their birthday. By looking at their faces, you would think something is missing.

There we go, a little sugar to get the party started. But what happens when you give two high energy guys even more...

You get problems, disasters. Believe it or not these two needed no assistance, just each other to accomplish this. With that, I (Ty) made a few calls and pulled some strings. We had to get these kids out of North Chili. Somewhere where they could really stretch their legs.

The only place big enough where these crazy kids +3 would not stand out. Can you guess where we ended up?

Ty's connections landed us in Manhattan at Engine 24 /Ladder 5/ Battalion 2 with one Captain Rob Pavis. Here is Ashlyn, Cael and Rob in the Captain's spot in the fire truck.

Next to being a Power Ranger, there is nothing else I would want to be other than a Fireman.

And here is Ella, with Rob's girlfriend Jocelyn, doing her best to contain her excitement about all this "fire stuff".

And Coy is trying to size himself up with the truck. Safety is important and Coy was just looking out for the guys who ride in this bad-boy. You have to make sure these lug nuts are on tight.

Cael's final mark on Manhattan was the slide down the fire pole. And with that we headed back home to get ready for Thanksgiving. Thank you Rob Pavis and Jocelyn Dexter for a great time in NYC and Staten Island.

What is the best thing to do to help burn off some off that turkey energy? How about taking Uncle Jordan and Aunt Lauren out to Stokoe Farm to cut down our Christmas tree. Here you see Ella, Aunt Lauren, Ashlyn and myself with our tree in the background.

Coy, with my assistance, and Cael are posing while Ashlyn in the upper right takes her turn with Dad cutting down the tree. Coy was not wobbly, he is sure footed. He was just showing Cael what happens when the base of the tree gets cut. "Timbre..."
