Christmas

Welcome back. Come along with us as we get ready for Christmas. Everything from getting our tree, to setting it up, to going to our visit our family who invited us over to their house for some good Christmas cheer.

This year we decided we would try a new spot for our tree. Instead of going to Stokoe Farms, we tried a new place call Vossler's out in Spencerport. It was a cold day but the sun was shinning and doing its best to keep us warm.

You really didn't think we would be walking out to cut down the tree? Not when we had this sled just lying around in the garage and that Daddy needed some exercise.

After a good 1/2 hour, I think Ty and I found the right tree. What do you think?

No not the one in front of Ty. The one just behind me.

Yea, this is much better. No jackets, 50 degrees warmer and the tree is ready to be decorated.

Our first invitation would be from my Mommy's Daddy. It was alot of fun. We were able to spend time with Grandpa, Great Grandpa, Uncle Matt and Tiffany.

Here I am getting some advice from Grandpa.

And who better to give advice to Ty on the finer ways of wearing a tool belt and the proper tool placement, than Great Grandpa himself.

Our second invite was on Christmas Eve to my Daddy's Mommy and Daddy's house. This was a blast as well. We were able to play with our presents with Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Jonnie, Uncle Joel and Aunt Jen, Uncle Jordan and Lauren and Uncle Jeff.

Ty finding himself in the present opening zone and Mommy using some defense to slow him down a little.

Ashlyn and Lauren showing some excitement about Ashlyn's unwrapping skills and the present.

We even got a chance to see Great Grandma Ellis.

Nothing like Christmas morning after a good night's sleep and being able to walk downstairs in your PJ's and open some presents.

Our next invite was to Great Grandma's house for some good ol' home cooked sauce and gnocchi's.. oh yea, who could forget, more presents.

We were able to visit with Great Grandma, Great-Great Aunt Marie, Great Aunt Arlene, Great Aunt Loretta, Great Aunt Gail and Great Uncle Bob, Grandma, Billy, Uncle Matt and Tiffany.

Our final invite was back to Grandma's house for even more food and the last of our presents.

Ty and I had a great time this year. But more important than all the presents was the fact that we were able to spend and share that Great Birthday day, Christmas, with the ones that we love.

Thanks everyone.

Love,

Ashlyn and Ty
