Come along with us today as we check out the hotel and some of the finer places in San Juan.

Oh yea, I'm on the beach. Put your hands in the air, as if you don't care...

It's not that hard to see why people get mesmerized by views like this on vacation.

After a mentally taxing day at the beach Ashlyn and I thought we would start a laid back and casual game of chess.

But such an easy game like this could only hold our attention for so long. But it got us thinking. If we could conquer the game of chess so easy... why not up the stakes... like let's say...

Puerto Rico

So we had our staff summon our transportation so we could explore to see what we could overthrow.

We found the fortress "El Morro." The fort of Ponce De Leon which was built in the late 1500's.

The only problem was that..

We were tired after a long day in the water. That and we didn't really know how long it would take for us to "walk" to the fortress. Vacations like this can be so tiring.

Ashlyn, really, I am tired. Can I go sit back down in the stroller?

Nonsense, Ty. We just overthrew "El Morro" in under 10 minutes. No one stood up to fight us. We need to smile and pose for the camera to celebrate our victory.

Ashlyn, Mommy and Daddy just paid them $10 so we could enter the fortress.

It was such a beautiful day. Outside the fort it must have been 85 with a nice 15 mile wind. Inside the fort, the sun came out. The wind was blocked and it had to be in the 90's.

Well come take a look at some of these pictures. The fortress was just huge and beautiful and overlooked the Atlantic Ocean and the port into San Juan. We spent just about an hour, but you could have easily spent a morning.
