Not
the best of days to go and select a tree, but with only
2 weeks to go to Christmas... why not? The news called for
snow, so we came prepared. Jacket, gloves, hats... and oh
yea, the sled.
|

If
you look close enough, you can see some snow in
this photo. Why we are in the mud... we have no
idea. |
|

Hey
we cannot forget our little bundle of joy this
season... Mommy, get Ella over here for a photo.
Even if she is sleeping.
Hey
Ty, who does that remind you of? Check out 2002
- Tree Hunting - 7th picture down
|
|
Nothing
like a little breath of fresh air to wake
you from that nap!
|
|
Family
pose before we make our final selection
and cut down the tree.
|
|
Step
back now... cause this tree is going to
come a tumblin' down.
|
|
Doesn't
seem fair that this is the family that
I got stuck with... are these two just
a bunch of crazies?
|
|
Nothing
like a little celebration dance and
a little "get down strutting
your stuff" pose following a
successful TIMBER!
|
|
A
little more reserve celebration
pose now that all the adrenalin
is out of their system.
|
|
Now
this is the way to travel
back on the 1/2 mile
walk back to the barn
to pick up our bound-up
tree.
|
|
Cutting
the tree
down was
fun, but
there is
nothing
like being
in a 70°
room. And
now for
the best
part...
the decorating.
