This year Ty and I put our collective minds together to see if we could come up with some costumes that would cloak our appearance so well, that no one would recognize us. We knew it would take long hours of work and if we were just lucky maybe we would go unnoticed. We thought long and hard on how to test this out and thought Wednesday October 30th would provide an ample opportunity to test and hone our skills.

Our mission if we chose to accept it would be to select 5 houses at random and see if we would be recognized. The following is a few of the houses we tried.

The first house we chose was one we knew too well. One that would instantly let us know if there was any chance it would work.

Unfortunately Grandpa wasn't home... our mission... still yet to be tested.

We moved on. 15 minutes later we arrived and attempted infiltration. It worked we made it in the house. Lets try it out.

Ty: Great Grandpa Love.. we mean Mr. Love, Do you know who we are?

Great Grandpa: Of course I do! Why you are Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

Ty to himself: We did it! This just might work.

We continued with greater confidence. Since we fared well with our Great Grandparents.. lets continue.

Ashlyn: So Mrs. Ennocenti... would you happen to have any cheese?

Ty: And whole milk... I just love whole milk... Great Grandma Ennocenti... I mean Mrs. Ennocenti

Ashlyn: Ty I can't believe you almost blew it. Mice don't drink milk, they drink water.

Ty: What? I was in total control of the situation.

Our fourth attempt would have been considered by most to be foolish... something only to be attempted after months of work... but we had to press on for tomorrow was the 31st.

Ty: So Mr. Robert Raines, Mrs. Marcia Raines, Mr. Jon Raines, Mr. Jordan Raines, Ms Lauren Dill, Mr. Jeff Raines.... who is this standing to my right?

Grandpa Raines: Is she Cinderella?

Ty: Nope, but here is a hint. She is a friend of M...i...c..... k.... e..... y

Ashlyn singing with clenched teeth: Come on everyone... Mo... u.... se.

Our last attempt didn't fare to well. It was a little disappointing. We thought we might have had a future with the CIA or FBI... but there is one thing that makes it all OK... at least we know we have a future with our family who loves us.
