Christmas Eve and Morning

Ashlyn and I would like to welcome everyone back for our latest edition. Today is a pretty exciting day. We talked Daddy into taking the day off from work so we could pick out our Christmas tree. It might not have been the best day seeing how it was only going to be in the low 20's, but at least it is sunny... right?

Well sit back, relax and enjoy our trip to Stokoe Farm's.

Oh yea, here we are!

Our last chance to warm up in Stokoe Farm's gift shop before heading to the great outdoors.

Ty asking: "So Mommy, this funny looking doggie is going to help us carry the tree back once we find it?"

Ashlyn's response: "Silly Ty, that is not a doggie, it's reindeer."

Ashlyn asking: "So Mommy, what about him. He is a mule, they like to pull and drag things."

Mommy's response: "Oh, don't worry,we have something much better."

Getting a little tour to see what tree we want.

Ashlyn asking: "Hey Ty what do you say we ask Mommy and Daddy if this tree is ok?"

Ashlyn again: "Ty? Ty? What do you think?"

Mommy's response: "Ashlyn take a look for yourself, but I think that you are on your own from here on out."

Ashlyn: "Well if I am alone on this one... I am going to need some help Daddy. Look at all these trees to choose from."

Daddy's response: "You know Ashlyn, the last tree you pointed out was very nice."

Ashlyn: "OK, then let's get that one."

Ashlyn: "There we go. So who is going to carry this tree back?"

Ashlyn: "Mommy, Daddy hasn't said if he was carrying the tree back. Does that mean you are carrying it?"

Mommy's response: "Ashlyn, I would love to, but I am carrying your brother. Looks like its going to have to be you."

Ashlyn: "If that is the case, I'll be right back."

Ashlyn: "OK Daddy, just throw it on back and hurry... it's getting dark"
